
Senior Last Testament
In 1988, the graduating class of East Henderson embarked on a unique tradition, creating a Last Will and Testament for their friends. This whimsical document was filled with humorous bequests, from passing down cherished high school memories to bestowing lunch spots. Each student contributed their personal touches, capturing the spirit of camaraderie and nostalgia. It became a memorableake, celebrating their time together and the bonds they formed during their high school years.

I, Stephanie Anders, being of --- mind and perfect body do hereby declare this to be my Last Will and Testament; To Gina Ballard, I leave all the good times we had throughout the school years. You’ve been a great friend and I’ll never forget you. To “runt” Tonya Osteen, I leave all the luck with Todd and my bad habits. To Lisa Cox, I leave all the good times in the 4th period and my parking space and the good lunch between you and Todd. To Candy D. and Andrey Staton, I leave all the laughs and crying, and thanks for being there. To Terri, I leave all the good times all through the school years and riding to school with me. To Karen, I hope you have a great two more years at East. To Jill, Betsy, and Kim, I leave all the troublemaking. Most of all to Jim Sexton, I leave all my love and I am looking forward to July 1st. With my resignation, I must note that upon an unspecified date, and witnessed by another party, who by the way, won the State Championship, I decided to leave the ceremonial rug to Scott Moore, and as my candle is burning low, I must request that he adhere the rug for two years and on an unspecified date pass it down to the future.
